Why Langham is called to serve the global church.

The church is growing in numbers.

More than 1.3 billion out of 2.2 billion Christians reside in the Majority World.  The good news is advancing and the Christian church is growing rapidly.

The church is not growing in Christlikeness.

Lacking in biblical knowledge, many new Christians are simply not growing to maturity in Christ.  This is a problem all over the world, of course, including the west.

The church grows through God’s Word.

The Bible teaches and guides us in what we are to believe and how we are to live.  It is through God’s Word that we transformed to walk in His ways.

Langham is Word-focused.

Langham trains preachers to teach the Bible, scholars to lead pastors of the future, and provides literature to pastors, seminaries and Bible colleges around the world.
