Preaching in India, Trinidad, France

6 January 2014 |

Dear Friends

As we start a new year, we would like to thank you for your continued prayerful support of the work of Langham Preaching.  There will no doubt be many joys as well as challenges ahead, and we are encouraged in our work as we are supported through your prayers.

India (North East): The second event with a focus on training local facilitators will take place in Shillong. 11 participants are expected from states like Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and also Bihar and West Bengal. Geoff New, who is facilitating the training, asks us to pray that they ‘would gain a deep sense of God’s leading’.

Trinidad: A Level 1 and 3 will be facilitated this week by Paul Carter, Las Newman and Joe Caterson. Please pray for Angela Shirley (Country Coordinator), those who facilitate and for the participants who will attend. Praise God for the steady and stable growth of the Preaching work in this country.

France: On Saturday a Level 1 with nine pastors from churches in the West of Brittany will continue in Morlaix. Mike McGowan will be facilitating this third meeting in a series of four and he asks us to pray that the group will connect with the importance of biblical preaching.

Budget: It is the season of setting annual budgets. Pray that those connected to Langham Preaching all around the world will be marked by a generosity in giving, a wisdom in decision-making, and a care in stewardship.

Thanks for your prayers!
