Transportation

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is served by most major airlines and is located 48 miles (about an hour’s drive) from the Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. Sonesta Resort (in Hilton Head) does not offer a shuttle, but recommends Uber or a taxi service for getting from the airport to the resort.

Hilton Head Airport (HHH)–a smaller, commuter airport–is served by Delta, American and United, and is 7 miles from the resort.

Arrival and Departure

Our weekend begins Thursday, April 2. Hotel check in and event registration is at 4 pm, followed by a welcome reception at 5:15 and dinner at 6pm. The weekend’s events will conclude on Sunday, April 5, at 10:30 am. Hotel check out is at 12pm.

Dress

It’s Hilton Head in spring! It’s resort casual dress for all meals and sessions (shorts, khakis, sandals are fine), and you may want to pack a light jacket or sweater for mornings, evenings, and air conditioned rooms. Weather will be pleasant, with daytime highs in the high 60s and 70s, and evening/early mornings in the mid-50s.

Meals & Schedule

All meals will be provided for you, except lunch. If you have any dietary restrictions we should be aware of, please contact Sarah Beasley at least three weeks prior to the event (sarah.beasley@langham.org / 480-595-5117).

Our times of worship, Bible teaching and learning about what God is doing around the world through Langham will take place in sessions on Thursday evening, and Friday and Saturday morning and evening. Friday and Saturday afternoons are wide open for you to enjoy the resort, play a round of golf, walk the beach, stroll through the gardens or do some window shopping in town. Our weekend will conclude Sunday after a worship celebration and brunch.
