‘I thank God for the Langham workshop’: Reports from Langham preaching training in Colombia
Greetings from Colombia, where 200 church leaders have gone through Langham Partnership’s preaching training over the past three months. These locally-led preaching movements teach pastors how to preach the Word clearly, faithfully and relevantly.
Here’s what a few of them had to say:
“I thank God for the Langham workshop; it came into my life to help me learn and unlearn, and to improve the structure of my preaching.”
“After this workshop, I leave knowing that God has not finished preparing me and with a desire to serve Him in His mission.”
“What I found there transformed and motivated me.”
Get involved: Support preaching movements in Colombia and around the world
Their journeys are just beginning. Over three years, these leaders will go through a series of trainings in the basics of exegesis to give them the tools to study, understand and preach God’s Word. They’ll also join preaching clubs — small groups of local church leaders. In these groups, they’ll practice what they’ve learned and continue growing in community.
Join us in rejoicing and praying over them — that through their ministry, the gospel will change lives and create a resilient church in Colombia.
